MISSION
Ethnographic Museum Seweryna Udziela in Krakow, which is valuable as the oldest ethnographic collection in Poland, with a contact function on what our ancestors recommended us to keep, developing, providing and promoting their collections and promoting the principles of history and diversity of cultures.
Those who are looking for their roots, identity or are welcome guests in all Museum facilities.
The heart of the Ethnographic Museum in Krakow are its collections – a unique, valuable and very diverse collection. A collection of documents and works of art in which each exhibit has its own story, related to an event affecting a human being. We present these testimonies of the past and these stories to those living today, at the same time taking care of them with great care, preserving them and keeping them for future generations.
At the same time, the Museum conducts research, including the existing world, still existing contexts, interpreting phenomena, revealing what is hidden or incomprehensible and leading an in-depth scientific discourse in the structures of scientific and cultural institutions.
