Planty, the site of the event, in place of the defensive walls, moat and earth embankments, i.e. known existing fortifications, Old Town. They consist of specific gardens whose names refer to objects and places located in the vicinity: Barbican, Dworzec, Florianka, Gródek, Palace of Art, Stradom, University and Wawel.
A walk along the alleys of the Planty is a kind of lesson in the history of art and architecture. discovered that the Planty is decorated with trees and shrubs – ash trees, chestnut trees, maples, lindens, poplars and elms, as well as one plane tree.
