Polish Aviation Museum – a museum in Krakow located on the premises of the former Rakowice-Czyżyny airport, collecting exhibits related to the history of aviation development. The number of aircraft currently on display exceeds 200. The museum publishes its own publications and organizes educational events. He is also a participant and organizer of conferences devoted to the history of aviation and museology. It also has a library with over 30,000 items. It was ranked eighth on the list of the best aviation museums in the world by CNN. On the museum premises there is the base of the Aviation Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Krakow, where the PZL W-3 Sokół helicopter is stationed.
